Hannspree ST251MKB 25-inch 1080p Full HD LCD TV

Hannspree just introduced the 25-inch ST251MKB 1080p Full HD LCD TV to the US market for $399.99. It's the first model in Hannspree's ST series of digital TVs, which will see larger models released later this year as well. This ST series 25-inch LCD TV has an all-black design with a glossy front bezel, and it ships with a Universal Remote Control and a 6-ft. HDMI cable for connecting high definition Blu-ray disc player or other devices that support HDMI. The set also has analog video inputs for connecting A/V devices, and VGA for connecting a PC.

Gateway’s SX Series and DX Series Back-to-School Desktop PCs

Gateway recently introduced its new tiny small form factor SX Series and compact DX Series mini-tower computer line, along with FHD Series monitors featuring a new edge-to-edge glass design. Available now for back to school shoppers, these space-saving Gateway desktops include a “digital photo frame” button which delivers a slide show of photos in one touch, and a “device deck” area on top of the chassis to set a camera, MP3 player or camcorder while connecting to USB ports and downloading media. Gateway also made sure that the front access digital media card reader can be tilted upward, so it can be easily seen and accessed if the chassis is placed under a desk.

Garmin Dakota 10 and Dakota 20 Handheld GPS Navigators

Headed for the great outdoors this summer?  You might want to take Garmin's new Dakota 10 or Dakota 20 handheld GPS navigator with you. These lightweight, rugged and waterproof devices have a high-sensitivity GPS receiver, worldwide basemap and 2.6-inch color touchscreen display, and they offer up to 20 hours of battery life on two AA batteries.

The Dakota 10 and Dakota 20 are both ready for outdoor adventure with 850 MB of internal memory which can store up to 1,000 waypoints, 50 routes, 2,000 geocaches and an active tracklog of up to 10,000 points and 200 saved tracks. But only the Dakota 20 features a 3-axis compass, barometric altimeter, and a microSD card slot for increased mapping and memory storage. Garmin says that these devices will quickly acquire and maintain satellite reception, even in heavy tree cover or deep canyons thanks to a high-sensitivity GPS receiver with HotFix, which automatically calculates and stores satellite information.

The Garmin Dakota 10 and Dakota 20 are expected in the 3rd quarter and will cost you $299.99 for the Dakota 10 and $349.99 for the 20.

New HP Slimline, HP Pavilion, HP Elite and Compaq Presario Desktop PCs

HP announced its back to school desktop PC line-up, including redesigned HP Slimline, HP Pavilion, HP Elite and Compaq Presario computers, along with the updated HP TouchSmart PC software suite. HP is offering the 20-inch HP 2009m monitor ($119) and 21.5-inch HP 2159m monitor ($239) and a matching keyboard and mouse with the new PC line-up as well.

Styled-up in a glossy piano-black finish with silver accents and touches of chrome, the new HP desktop PCs include the HP MediaSmart software suite for multimedia and entertainment.

Gateway Launches NV Series Entertainment Notebook PCs

Gateway's new NV Series notebook line includes the Gateway NV5214u ($499.99) and the Gateway NV5807u ($599.99) entertainment notebooks which are packed with premium performance features, yet very affordable. Available with either Intel or AMD processors, the NV Series laptops feature a 15.6-inch high definition LED-backlit TFT Widescreen display with 16:9 aspect ratio and 1366x768 resolution, designed for watching HD movies and video, and viewing digital photos and digital media content. An HDMI port is on board in case you would like to enjoy HD video and audio through your home theater, external LCD,  or HDTV. ViewSonic introduced its VPC100 All-in-One PC featuring an 18.5-inch, 16:9 aspect ratio LCD screen display. Priced at $599, the 35mm thin VPC100 is powered by an Intel Atom 1.64GHz processor and Microsoft Windows XP Home operating system. ViewSonic has also incorporated the following features in the VPC100 All-in-One PC:

EA SPORTS' Fight Night Round 4 Boxing Videogame features Tyson and Ali

Two of the top boxers in history are featured on EA SPORTS' new Fight Night Round 4 boxing videogame. I'm of course talking about “The Greatest” Muhammad Ali and “Iron” Mike Tyson, who will fight it out on PLAYSTATION 3 ($59.99), and Xbox 360 ($59.99) video game consoles.

PENTAX Optio W80 Digital Camera is Waterproof, Dustproof, Coldproof, and Shockproof

Here's a digital camera that you can take and use just about anywhere. The 12.1 megapixel PENTAX Optio W80 features a 2.5 inch LCD monitor with anti-reflective coating, a 5X internal optical zoom and a wide angle 28mm lens, but the best part is its rugged and durable features. The Optio W80 is waterproof, dustproof, coldproof, shockproof, and it has a Super Protect coating applied to the mineral crystal cover of the internal zoom lens which helps repel water, grime and finger marks. LG Electronics Announces 55LH95 and 55LH93 Ultra-Slim Full LED LCD TV

 
LG Electronics has unveiled two new ultra-slim 55-inch full LED LCD TVs in Seoul, Korea. The new 55LH95 and 55LH93 models are said to offer a brighter and clearer screen than competing products thanks to backlighting that employs a total of 3,360 LEDs, which is seven times more than existing edge-lit LED TVs. A few of the picture enhancing technologies packed into the LG full LED LCD's 24.8mm. thin chassis are 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 240 Hz refresh rate, but perhaps most interesting is an enhanced wireless feature which can deliver content from DVD players, game consoles or home-theater units wirelessly without any degradation.

New iPhone 3GS Cases by XtremeMac

XtremeMac is releasing a new line of custom-designed protective cases and covers for the new iPhone 3GS in July. Obviously these cases will also fit the iPhone 3G as they are the same size, but XtremeMac has come up with a few new colorful styles that you might like, including the Tuffwrap line of form-fitting silicone cases, the Microshield line of durable plastic cases, the Tuffshield lightweight durable screen shield, as well as the Sportwrap lightweight armband for iPhone 3G S.

New HP Mini 5101 - 10.1-inch Mini PC Netbook

The new top-of-the-line HP Mini 5101 netbook PC is aimed at on-the-go professionals, but it's priced for the average Joe at $449.  Weighing in at about 2.6 pounds, the HP Mini 5101 has a 10.1-inch diagonal LED display available in either WSVGA or high-definition resolutions, and a spill-resistant keyboard that is 95 percent of a full-size QWERTY keyboard. This netbook is available with either a four-cell battery, or a six-cell battery for up to eight hours of battery life. The Mini 5101 also features a low-power Intel Atom processor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, and an integrated 2-megapixel webcam. A fast 7,200 RPM hard drive comes standard, while an optional Solid State Drive is also available in 80 or 128 gigabytes.

Toshiba Announces Redesigned Satellite Laptops

Toshiba has revamped its Satellite laptop line in time for students who are getting their "back to school" gear ready. The new Satellite models are available now in both Intel and AMD CPU configurations with prices ranging from $699.99 to $849.99. The Satellite M and Satellite U Series are for multimedia and everyday mobility, while the more powerful Satellite A and Satellite P Series handle HD entertainment and multimedia with a 16-inch diagonal widescreen HD Edge-to-Edge display, and huge 18.4-diagonal widescreen HD TruBrite display.
