Sony_hd_videocamera_1It's all about HD High Definition these days, and now you can put your HD video director's hat on with the new Sony HDR-HC1 Handycam (small and compact) video camcorder, the first HD camera for consumer use.  High definition is a digital video standard with 1,440 pixels by 1,080 scanning lines of resolution.  That means real sharp video for your HDTV folks!
