Mio A701 GPS Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone?

Mio_a701The Register is reporting that Mitac will preview the Mio A701 GPS-enabled Windows Mobile-based Smartphone / Pocket PC next week.  The device features a 520MHz Intel XScale PXA270 processor, 192MB of memory, 2.7" QVGA screen, tri-band GSM/GPRS functionality, integrated GPS, Bluetooth 1.2, a 1.3MP camera, an SD/MMC slot, and the new Windows Mobile 5.0.

As you can see, it looks pretty slick, but the Mio A701 does not have built-in Wi-Fi, although one can be attached to the SDIO card slot. We'll have to wait for reviews and details as they become available, but the Mitac Mio A 701 PDA phone looks promising.
