Nokia has introduced the new Nokia 9300i smartphone, which supports E-GPRS (EDGE) and WLAN 802.11g wi-fi connectivity, five party conference calling via an integrated speakerphone and multiple email clients (with attachments), including BlackBerry Connect, Nokia Business Center, IBM WebSphere, Oracle Collaboration Suite, Seven Always-On Mail and Visto Mobile. 1-800-4myXbox

Just a day after the big release, Microsoft Corp. is getting complaints of technical problems with the new Xbox 360 videogame console. Can you believe it? Microsoft says there are just a few isolated cases of Xbox 360 owners who complained that their systems crashed while playing games, but if the problem is more widespread Microsoft might end up having a bad holiday season.

Molly O'Donnell, a spokeswoman for Microsoft's Xbox division urges anyone with Xbox problems to call 1-800-4myXbox or go to www.xbox.com. If the problems can't be resolved immediately, Microsoft said it will pay to ship the console overnight to a repair center, overnight it back once it's fixed, or ship a replacement.

XBOX 360 Selling like hotcakes

Xbox_360_consoles_3

First come, first serve.  The lucky Xbox 360 owners out there might be tempted to make some money and sell their new xbox 360 on eBay. The price is rising quick, so you might be able to triple the $299 - $399 that you spent already. There's been a lot of talk about Microsoft's Xbox 360 being in short supply, and it turns out many people might not be able to find one this holiday season. Lots of retail stores are selling out. Microsoft has said it plans to sell 3 million of the new Xbox 360 consoles worldwide within 90 days of its launch, so maybe we'll see a whole new shipment going to stores soon. I know my nephew has his fingers crossed.

Engadget has a good Xbox 360 roundup , and Joystiq has launched a new blog called xbox 360 fanboy that is dedicated to the xbox 360 console news, video games, and info.

TiVo TiVoToGo on your iPod or PSP

TiVo is planning to enable users of its digital video recorders to transfer television shows to Apple’s video iPod, and Sony PSP - PlayStation Portable, using the TiVoToGo service. TiVoToGo for iPod and PSP will be tested in the next few weeks, and is expected to be available in the first quarter of next year for a one-time fee,  between $15 to $30.

“Getting TiVo to work with an iPod isn’t as simple as downloading music and videos to Apple’s device from iTunes,” reports The Wall Street Journal [paid sub. req.]. “First, a user’s TiVo records a show onto the machine’s hard drive. Then, the program is transferred over a home network to a PC, where it is translated into a video format compatible with the iPod. Next, the video must be transferred to the iPod from the PC. The whole process of getting an hour-long show onto an iPod could take more than two hours from the time a TiVo device finishes recording it.”
