Nokia 9300i Smartphone
Nokia has introduced the new Nokia 9300i smartphone, which supports E-GPRS (EDGE) and WLAN 802.11g wi-fi connectivity, five party conference calling via an integrated speakerphone and multiple email clients (with attachments), including BlackBerry Connect, Nokia Business Center, IBM WebSphere, Oracle Collaboration Suite, Seven Always-On Mail and Visto Mobile. The Nokia 9300i has 80 MB of memory capacity (expandable up to 2GB with an optional MMC card), a full keyboard, 65,536-color 640-by-200-pixel display screen, and Bluetooth wireless networking.
I know a few Nokia 9300 communicator owners who might be upset that they did'nt wait for this new upgraded version, but who knew? The high-end Nokia 9500 is wi-fi capable, but feels like a brick in your hand, so this new Nokia 9300i will probably be the top choice in this line of smartphones.
The Nokia 9300 i smartphone is schedules for Q1 2006 release, with a tri-band version of the Nokia 9300i optimized for mobile networks in Europe and Asia (900/1800/1900 MHz) and capable of operating in compatible GSM networks in the Americas.
