Zen Vision:M from Creative

Zen_vision_m

There's no doubt that Creative Technologies has come out with some good personal media gadgets this year, just look at the Creative Zen Vision, and Zen Micro Photo for instance. Well, now Creative Japan is introducing the Zen Vision:M personal media player, which is surely aimed at taking some of Apple's iPod video glory. The Creative Zen Vision:M looks a lot like the new iPod, but it's a bit thicker, and has no scroll wheel (that would have REALLY been a design rip-off), but the device does come correct with some of its own features.

Creative Zen Vision: M supports video formats including MPEG-4, WMV, Motion JPEG, DivX, and XviD. The device has a 2.5 inch, 320x240 pixel LCD screen, plays MP3 and WMA-DRM audio files, and as with most Creative digital music players, has a microphone / voice recorder and an FM radio tuner and that you can record as well.

Zenvision_mAccording to Creative Japan, the 30 GB Zen Vision:M can hold about 15,000 tunes, approximately 120 hours, and the built-in lithium ion battery provides approximately 14hours, animated picture maximum approximately 4 hours, continual playback of 6 is possible.

The Creative Zen Vision:M isexpected to cost about US $330, and come in three colors. Japan will get it first though.
