Holographic Security Tech At Super Bowl XL
If you've got Super Bowl XL tickets, you'll be happy to know that security will be top notch. Intrepid Defense & Security Systems said the U. S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will use its LifeVision3D holographic technology to protect football fans attending Super Bowl XL at Detroit's Ford Field.
The applications range from face-recognition to underwater detection. They are based on three-dimensional full-motion holography. Two light streams, discrete left eye and right eye signals, are transmitted into Intrepid's platform that projects on a holographic screen.

Homeland Security Tries New Michigan 3-D Technology at Super Bowl XL
Hidden from public view at Super Bowl XL, spectacular live-action 3-D holograms will be created from signals streaming in from networks of electronic eyes. These live-action holograms will help Homeland Security Agency officials detect people and objects suspected of endangering the 65 thousand ticket holders crowding into Ford Field, and the thousands more who will gather in downtown Detroit to celebrate the NFL’s preeminent football contest.
