UMPC Ultra Mobile PC Announced
So, you've been waiting to hear the real deal on Intel's UMPC Ultra Mobile PC right? Intel Corp. has made it official, announcing the Ultra Mobile PC (UMPC) category that offers consumers small, ultra-mobile devices with full PC capabilities, uncompromised Internet access, anytime connectivity, and the ability to recognize and adapt to its environment virtually anytime and anywhere. Intel will announce even more details on March 9th, when Microsoft will share Origami Project plans as well.
The Ultra Mobile PC (UMPC) platform is Intel's new category of small, thin, and light devices. Simply put, the UMPC is the perfect PC companion. Mainly designed for content consumption, the UMPC allows users to:
