NTT DoCoMo N902iX High Speed HSDPA Phones
3g has been the talk of the cellular phone industry for years, but the "real" promise of 3g wireless is in HSDPA, or High Speed Downlink Packet Access. The new NTT DoCoMo N902iX 3G W-CDMA (UMTS) HSDPA phones are good examples of where we're headed, with data speeds of up to 3.6Mbps. High Speed indeed! Japan will be served first, but HSDPA networks are in the works worldwide, so we'll all be able to get in on the high speed phone action...and the high cellphone data service costs that will come with it.
