The T-DMB (terrestrial digital mobile broadcasting) format used for these terrestrial mobile digital broadcasts looks like it is perfectly tailored to handheld devices, such as the cellphones and DMPs (both dedicated and not-so) we've seen.

Napster made a huge comeback this year, with the success of their (legal) music subscription service, so why not offer a Napster branded MP3 player as well? The modest 1 GB Napster To Go compatible MP3 Player is now available, and, Napster is advertising a deal offering the player for $50 if you agree to a year of Napster-To-Go service at 14.95 a month for unlimited music. Otherwise the device costs $119.95

Available in violet and pink, of course, the Sony NW-A1200 8GB Walkman MP3 player stores up to 5,300 of songs, and supports multiple audio formats including MP3, Sony's ATRAC, ATRAC3plus, WMA and AAC2. There's a 6-Band Equalizer to get the sound right, a 1.5" screen to view the player's functions and data, and up to 20 hours of continuous music playback with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

The growing security and surveillance business just got more sneaky with the introduction of the D-Link DCS-2120 Securicam 3G wireless webcam. This 802.11g wireless Internet camera with 3G mobile video support offers a way to remotely monitor a home or office in real time from anywhere within a mobile phone’s 3G service area. You can archive video straight to a hard drive or network-attached storage devices, playback video, and set up motion detection to trigger video/audio recording or send e-mail alerts.
Also, you can access and control the DCS-2120 via the web using Internet Explorer. This option lets you watch remote video and enables you to take snapshots directly from the web browser to a local hard drive. When used in conjunction with the email alert system, mobile phone can view a camera feed without a notebook PC and wireless hotspot. Alienware has announced three new notebook computers that feature Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology. The Area-51 m5750 (17in), Area-51 m5550 (15.4in) and Sentia m3450 (14.1in) are all shipping this month in the U.S., with the m5750 priced at $1,499, the m5550 at $1,399 and the m3450 at $,1099.
