ZEN V and ZEN V Plus from CREATIVE
After introducing the ZEN Vision:M player, CREATIVE takes another crack at challenging iPod dominance with the new ZEN V and ZEN V Plus mp3 music players. The Zen V is available in 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB capacities, and has a 1.5-inch, photo-capable OLED screen, FM radio, and will sell for $120, $150, and $200 when it's released in July.
The Creative ZEN V Plus is what catches my eye. While both ZEN V players feature a line-in jack for direct-from-disc recording (nice), support PlaysForSure subscription services, FM radio, and an expected 15 hours of battery life, the ZEN V Plus player adds video playback capabilities. There will be a decent selection of colors to choose from and the ZENV Plus will be available in August, priced at $130, $170, and $230 for the 1GB, 2GB, or 4GB versions.
