Altec Lansing has introduced the inMotion iM500 Portable Audio System for iPod nano, a thin compact speaker system with a fold-away design that is perfect for travel. The inMotion iM500 might be thin, but it still packs sonic punch in its innovative design. The iM500 uses broad-faced speaker
cones, which provide more surface area to drive more air within a small
space, and the s
ound is further enhanced by MaxxBass technology for
better bass performance.
The device folds to a close at 8.5" wide, 0.7" deep and 5" high and weighs 12 ounces. Six AAA batteries are required for battery operation, and a protective carrying pouch will be shipped with the system. An auxiliary jack allows you to plug in other audio devices, including other iPod, CD, MP3 and portable DVD players if you prefer.
