LG CU500 HSDPA Phone from Cingular

Taking their 3g service to the next level, Cingular is about to release the LG CU500 HSDPA phone for the U.S. that will allow download speeds at up to 1.8Mbps. The CU500 will sell for $149.99 after rebate and a 2-year service agreement. Cingular is also expected to offer a second HSDPA (high speed downlink packet access) compatible mobile phone, the Samsung's ZX-20, soon.

Last month two other HSDPA phones from LG and Samsung were announced, proving their commitement to 3g HSDPA network service.
