Samsung SCH-a990 3.2 mega pixel digital camera phone from Verizon Wireless

Samsung and Verizon Wireless have announced the availability of the Samsung SCH-a990 3.2 mega pixel digital camera phone, which raises the bar for camera phones with high resolution photos. The SCH-a990 includes a flash, auto focus, picture editor, PictBridge Digital Printing, Zoom, TV-out and 180 degree Swivel Screen. Using Bluetooth wireless technology, you can print pictures wirelessly from the SCH-a990 to a Bluetooth-enabled printer. There's also video recording (up to one-hour recording time) and expandable memory with microSD memory card slot. With Verizon's V CAST multimedia service you can watch video and download music. A V CAST VPak subscription costs $15.00 monthly.

The Samsung SCH-a990 has a personal organizer with calendar, calculator, to-do list, currency        converter, alarm clock, world time, and a stop watch to boot.    

The SCH-a990 is available for $349.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement and is available today online at http://www.verizonwireless.com and will be available in more than 1,900 Verizon Wireless Communications Stores on July 24, 2006.
