Prep Laptops For Airport Security

This has got to be a tough time for frequent business travelers (and other travelers) who are now being told to check-in their laptop computer, and all electronic gadgets.  Who has'nt heard a story of someone's baggage being stolen, or broken into, especially now that some airlines do not permit you to put a proper lock on your baggage. I bet organised criminals at airports worldwide can't wait to get their hands on the goods.

In light of the new airport security rules and regulations, TechWeb has posted a useful list of  precautions and tips, suggested by Absolute Software, for preparing your laptop computer before you travel. The tips are aimed at people traveling in and out of the UK, but the precautions are pretty much valid everywhere these days.
