Cingular Wireless Releases Nokia E62 Smartphone in the U.S.
Cingular Wireless and Nokia have introduced the Nokia E62 smartphone device that sports a QWERTY keyboard with large backlit keys, and a high-resolution 16 million color screen measuring 320 x 240 pixels. Available exclusively from Cingular in the U.S. starting at $149.99, the Nokia E62 also supports popular secure email platforms including Good Mobile Messaging, Cingular Xpress Mail, BlackBerry Connect, Mail for Exchange (direct push corporate email from Microsoft Exchange), the Nokia push solution via Intellisync Mobile Suite from Nokia, and standard clients such as POP3, IMAP and SMTP. There's also a pre-loaded instant messaging application.
With the Nokia E62 you can edit and create documents,
spreadsheets and presentations, and surf the Internet with the device's Nokia S60 browser, and find Web content via Cingular's MEdia Net.
The Nokia E62 smartphone will be available beginning September 29, 2006 in Cingular Wireless retail stores nationwide, select national retailers, and at http://www.cingular.com
