FinePix F31fd Camera with Face Detection Technology

You may have heard about the FinePix S6500fd digital camera with Face Detection technology that Fujifilm announced recently. Now Fujifilm has launched the FinePix F31fd, a pocketable digital camera with the same unique hardware-based Face Detection technology. Fujifilm's Face Detection is built-in to the camera's processor and helps the camera automatically focus on and expose faces. The FinePix F31fd with Face Detection Technology is able to identify faces, optimise settings and take the photo within just 0.05 seconds. This camera looks great for group photos. A green square surrounds the face of the primary subject on the camera's LCD screen, and white squares identify up to nine other subjects. Then movement tracking keeps the camera 'locked on' to its subjects until they move out of the picture.

The FinePix F31fd is fit with a Fujinon 3x optical zoom lens, 6 megapixel Super CCD HR VI, 2.5 inch LCD screen and features technologies such as Intelligent Flash, and Anti-blur mode. There's also VGA movie capture of 30 frames per second with sound. The FinePix F31fd digital camera is expected to ship for the Holiday season.
