2g iPod Shuffle Available Worldwide This Friday
In time for the holiday shopping season, Apple will make the new iPod Shuffle digital music player available in Apple’s retail stores and Apple Authorized Resellers this Friday, November 3. The 2g (2nd generation) iPod shuffle ($79) was announced last September along with other new Apple products, and is about half the size of the original iPod shuffle at just half a cubic inch. It's got a built-in clip so you can sport it any way you want, and there's one gigabyte of flash memory which holds up to 240 songs.
With up to 12 hours of battery life, the new 2g iPod Shuffle player let's users listen to songs in a random order, or flip a switch to listen to songs in order. iTunes’ AutoFill feature automatically syncs the perfect number of songs from their music library. iPod shuffle includes earbud headphones and an iPod shuffle dock.
