Pocket Film Festival 2006

Some 80 directors, students and artists have gathered to present their films shot with mobile phones at the Pocket Film Festival 2006 (Festival Pocket Films) in Paris this weekend. 14 of the best competed for "ze best of" the festival. Le Grand Prix du Jury :  "Le Cahier Froid"  de Jean-Claude TAKI (France, 2006, 24min) The winner won 2 000 euro and...a new video mobile phone, to shoot a film for the next Pocket Film Festival I suppose.

This was the second "Festival Pocket Films", and it looks like it's come a long way since last years Pocket Film Festival, so grab your cellphone (if it shoots video) and get your own mobile movie going.
