Now that Microsoft's Zune digital media player has been launched in the U.S., it appears there's still a long way to go in marketing the new multi-media device. Your average consumer out there has no clue about the Zune player, Zune brand, Zune Marketplace, or the history of Zune ...yet.

Microsoft's current Zune promotion includes a series of launch parties that feature influential and progressive bands across the country. I'm sure by the time 2006 ends, Microsoft will have everyone talking about Zune, not just tech enthusiasts, as they continue their non-stop Zune presentations.
