The ultra-portable, lightweight (3.9 lb.) HP Pavilion tx1000z notebook PC will ship with a choice of Vista Home Premium, Vista Business, or Vista Ultimate OS, and has AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core processors with HyperTransport technology, for improved system performance when running multiple applications.
This ultra-portable PC sports a convertible high-definition 12.1" display, so you can use it like a classic notebook, or swing the display around for a flat tablet or slate. The tx1000z supports a hard drive of up to 200GB, and includes a CD/DVD burner. If you're into video chat, there's an optional 1.3MP webcam and two omni-directional microphones, that support VOIP (Voice over iP) calling. For entertainment, there's HP QuickPlay 3.0, which includes a mobile TV module for Internet TV streaming, and the HP Pavilion tx1000z has enhanced music, video, and photo features.
HP has also included a mini remote control that is stored in the ExpressCard slot.
