AT&T iPhone Improved
If you're thinking about buying an AT&T iPhone, know that Apple is still improving on the device ahead of the big June 29th iPhone launch. Apple announced that the iPhone will deliver longer battery life when it ships, than what they estimated when the iPhone was unveiled in January. The iPhone from AT&T will now feature up to 8 hours of talk time, 6 hours of Internet use, 7 hours of video playback or 24 hours of audio playback. Also, the iPhone will feature up to 250 hours, or more than 10 days of standby time.
Apple also decided to upgrade the entire top surface of iPhone and its 3.5-inch display. Instead of the original plastic surface, the iPhone will sport "optical-quality" glass, which the company claims will achieve a superior level of scratch resistance and optical clarity. Maybe that's bad news for companies that are ready to ship iPhone accessories like covers and cases to protect the old plastic screen.
