G9 Laser Mouse PC and Updated G15 Gaming Keyboard from Logitech

The Logitech G9 Laser Mouse was designed for PC gamers, giving users the ability to modify the G9 mouse for the best personal fit, feel and performance. The G9 is a corded mouse that features interchangeable grips (Wide-Load grip and Precision grip), on-the-fly dpi switching ranging from 200 dpi to 3200 dpi, full-speed USB laser tracking, an onboard-memory profiling system, a custom-color LED and the hyper-fast MicroGear Precision Scroll Wheel.

Logitech's new gaming mouse is focused on giving gamers a comfortable feel as they play, going so far as providing customized weight tuning and weight distribution. The weight-tuning system lets you choose from hundreds of weight settings by inserting up to four additional weights in the mouse’s weight tray, adding up to a maximum of 28 grams. Choose from eight additional weights, with spring-loaded weight cartridges that fit snugly in the bottom of the G9 mouse.

Logitech also introduced the updated G15 Gaming Keyboard featuring programmable macro keys and an integrated LCD panel offering built-in support for games like World of Warcraft, Battlefield 2142 and Quake Wars. There are two built-in, full-speed USB ports on the keyboard, for plugging in a mouse and headset, and the keyboard includes backlighted keys for or late-night gaming sessions.

The Logitech G9 Laser Mouse ($99.99) and the upgraded Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard ($99.99) are expected to be available in September.
