Blackbird 002 Gaming PC from HP

After acquiring VoodooPC a while back, it's not surprising to see HP taking full advantage of VoodooPC's award-winning expertise in gaming PC design and architecture, and adding HP's know-how to create the new Blackbird 002 gaming PC. As you can see, the HP Blackbird 002 has got the looks, with its spiffy aluminum chassis and cast-aluminum foot, but it also features patented full system liquid-cooling that allows it to keep cool during intense use. The system has a removable side panel, and is just waiting to be tricked out by gamers who want to get inside the machine and do some performance tuning.

A limited-edition system called HP Blackbird 002 Dedication Edition will be available Sept. 15. Designed by a small team of dedicated gamers who sought to bring innovation back to the desktop PC, it features a pre-set performance configuration, unique side panels, free games and more. Beginning Oct. 1, you will be  able to configure your own HP Blackbird 002 if you're interested, and if you have deep pockets. Each HP Blackbird 002 will be hand-built in HP's production facility in Calgary, Alberta. Pricing depends on configuration and will range from about $2,500 to $7,100.

  The HP Blackbird 002 has its own flashy interactive website to get extreme gamers hyped, but I suggest reading ZDNet's review as well were the Blackbird 002 is given an excellent rating.
