Not to be confused with the Samsung BeatBox Phone, T-Mobile USA has announced the availability of the quad-band Samsung Beat - SGH-t539 flip phone with mobile music features for your listening pleasure. The integrated MP3 player supports MP3, WMA, AAC and AAC+ formats, and the Beat has enhanced music capabilities like dedicated external music controls, stereo speaker, stereo Bluetooth, included wired stereo headset and USB cable for side-loading music. The Samsung Beat's external memory slot supports up to 2GB of removable memory, and the package ships with a 1GB memory card pre-loaded with two songs. Music is cool, but these days you need more than that, so the Beat also has a 1.3 megapixel camera  with 4X digital zoom and video capture/recorder, and SMS, EMS, MMS, AOL, ICQ, Yahoo!, Windows Live Messaging capabilities.
