The VAIO Graphic Splash Maya Hayuk Edition , and Graphic Splash Edition VAIO C and FE notebooks brought a fresh look and design to Sony's Vaio laptops, and the unique graphics continue on the new VAIO FZ Graphic Splash Eco Edition notebooks.

The eco-friendly notebooks have eco-themed designs inspired by nature, including Caribbean Water, Clay Earth, Spotted Life, and Bloom. Sony says they will donate one percent of the price of each Graphic Splash Eco Edition notebook purchased to non-profit organizations working to preserve the environment.  The organization 1% For the Planet will make sure the donations are well spent on efforts to help our ailing planet, and Sony is offering rebates to customers who trade in used PCs to be recycled, earning a credit towards the new VAIO notebook. As we saw with Sony's Take Back Recycling Program, the company seems committed to spreading more eco-love going forward.

The limited VAIO Graphic Splash Eco Edition notebooks will start at about $1,391 and will be available mid-November at www.sony.com/pr/eco.
