BenQ DSC X800 Super Slim 8 Mega Pixel Digital Camera
Say hello to the world's slimmest (9.8mm) 8 mega pixel digital camera. It's the BenQ DSC X800, which features a bright 3” LCD display, Prism Type 3x optical zoom lens (housed entirely in the camera body), Auto Face Tracking Function, and Super Shake-Free mode. This camera also functions as a portable multimedia player, offering audio and video multimedia player functionality. You can watch MPEG-4 videos or listen to music with the included ear-phones, and record MPEG-4 videos at 30 frames per second in 640 x 480 VGA resolution.
The slim X800 also offers high sensitivity up to ISO 4000, plus Z-Lighting and Wize Zoom functions that are said to ensure high-quality pictures whether in the dark or at a distance.
With patented Z-lighting, users can adjust the lighting and the balance of their photo in playback mode. Wise Zoom provides consumers with a 30x zoom effect in VGA size when focusing in on a certain area at a distance.
The BenQ DSC X800 supports both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios, and includes a variety of built-in shooting modes. Complimenting its slim look, the X800 has a matted steel breast plate design and a glossy black or red steel cover in hair-line finishing. Look for it to be available worldwide in Q1, 2008.
