Olympus SP-570 UZ with 20x zoom

Olympus announced the new 10 mega pixel SP-570 Ultra Zoom digital camera that sports a precision-crafted 20x wide-angle optical zoom (26-520mm equivalent). The SP-570 UZ has advanced manual controls including a new zoom ring, a hotshoe for external flash, and RAW format capture, as well as simple point-and-shoot automatic scene modes. The camera also has Dual Image Stabilization, Face Detection, and Shadow Adjustment Technology features. The SP-570's large 2.7-Inch HyperCrystal LCD has anti-glare technology which improves visibility in bright sunlight and provides a wider viewing angle.

The Olympus SP-570 UZ ($499.99) also incorporates Olympus’ enhanced TruePic III Image Processor which helps to deliver superior picture quality with more accurate colors, true-to-life flesh tones and faster processing speeds. ISO settings range from 50-6400, and the camera captures AVI movie with sound at 640x480 (30/15fps) 320x240 (30/15fps).

Olympus SP-570 UZ with 20x zoom will be available in March with a neck strap, USB Cable, audio/video cable, four AA batteries, manual, warranty card and OLYMPUS Master 2 Software CD-ROM included.
