Samsung NV4 PMP Digital Camera

After going black with the NV3 PMP camera and most other NV-series cameras, Samsung wisely gave the new NV4 digital camera / personal media player a nice sliver metallic design, along with some cool new PMP features. Sure, you get a decent compact eight mega-pixel digital camera with a non-protruding 3x optical zoom NV lens in the NV4, but set the camera to PMP mode and you'll be enjoying your MP3s, and videos on the camera’s 2.5" high-resolution display. You'll get some help converting your MPEG, AVI, MOV, WMV and ASF video files with the bundled Digimax Converter software, which can also convert MP3 and WAV audio files. The Samsung NV4 ($279) features a 2.5mm headphone port and external speaker with SRS 3D acoustic technology.

The Samsung NV4's also i-movie mode offers users high-resolution SVGA (800x592) MPEG-4 video and advanced editing controls, while a Successive Recording mode lets users to pause, and then resume filming of video clips without having to save the clips as individual files. The camera’s optical zoom works while filming and features a movie stabilizer to compensate for unwanted camera movement and subject blur.

Another unusual feature found on the NV4 is Samsung’s World Tour Guide function, which provides travel information covering 4,500 regions in 30 countries. I bet your digital camera can't do that.
