Samsung Presents its 82-inch LCD TV
Samsung Electronics is showing off a few extraordinary TV displays at SID 2008 (Society for Information Display) including an awesome 82-inch “Ultra-Definition” LCD with 120Hz refresh, and 3,840 x 2,160 pixels resolution. And you thought your HDTV was the bomb. The international symposium, seminar and exhibition was also the right spot for Samsung to present its 82-inch “e-board” with a multi-touch screen, which aims to replace whiteboards and beam projectors. Samsung will also introduce a 15-inch LCD with a “blue phase mode,” and 2.3-inch e-paper that uses electrodes made from carbon nanotubes for enhanced “fold-ability.” A 52-inch 3D Display, and 40-inch full-HD LCD TV panel will also be showcased making for a nice collection of eye candy at Samsung Electronics' booth 508 at the 2008 SID in the Los Angeles Convention Center.
