SanDisk Extreme III Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo

The SanDisk Extreme III Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo is about the fastest Memory Stick card you'll find, with read and write speeds of 30 megabytes per second. The card will be available in June in 4GB and 8GB capacities, priced at $89.99 and $149.99 respectively. The new card was developed jointly by SanDisk and Sony for all of the professional photographers and advanced amateurs out there who use Sony digital SLR cameras. Sony's PRO-HG capable point-and-shoot cameras and digital camcorders are also compatible with the Extreme III Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo card.

Soulb Phone from Samsung

Samsung has introduced yet another version of its "Soul" phone. Following up on the original SGH-U900 Soul and the Samsung G400 Soul clamshell phone, now we've got the candybar style Samsung Soulb phone.  The new soul cellphone has a sleek brushed metal body and a thin profile, measuring just 9.9mm thick.

The Soulb phone features a 2" QVGA display, a 3 megapixel camera with Power LED flash, a microSD card slot, 1GB of internal storage, FM radio, and a standard 3.5mm audio port. Samsung Soulb also offers a built-in Office document viewer and editor, as well as a full HTML web browser.

The Bridge II iPod and iPhone Docking Station from Harman Kardon

Harman Kardon has introduced its new ipod docking station which provides audio and video playback through your home entertainment system. The Bridge II docking station for iPod and iPhone connects to Harman Kardon Bridge-ready audio/video components, enabling expanded iPod capabilities like on-screen iPod menu display, remote control operation, and battery charging.  The Bridge II can be connected to the Harman Kardon DMC 1000 digital media center, the new AVR 354 7.1-channel a/v receiver and the HK 3490 stereo receiver, and other Harman Kardon Bridge-ready receivers.

Paris Phone Promo Video from Sony Ericsson

Here's a preview video of the upcoming Sony Ericsson Paris phone (P200?) a new slim slider style cellphone which is expected to incorporate a 5-megapixel camera, 3G HSDPA connectivity, a sliding 20-key QWERTY keypad, and QVGA resolution 2.6 inch touch screen display. Sony Ericsson's Paris phone is said to be running on the Symbian UIQ 3.3 Operating System.

3K RazorBook 400 Mini-Notebook PC Priced at $299

Resting on the hand in this picture is the compact 3K RazorBook 400 Mini-Notebook PC, an Internet-ready, ultra lightweight notebook that weighs under 2 lbs. Priced at just $299, this mini laptop has a 7-inch LCD TFT Display, a full-size keyboard, 400Mhz CPU, and a 4GB solid-state disk.  It's said to be pretty durable, with a shock-resistant design that is able to take on bumps and shocks. Mobile workers, students and travelers will like the fast boot-up time of less than 8 seconds on the 3K RazorBook 400, which measures 8.25" in length x 5.5" in width x 1.25" in depth and runs on a Linux Operating System.

Dell Mini Inspiron PC Netbook

At the D: All Things Digital D6 conference, a new Dell Mini Inspiron PC was spotted, and photos are now available for your viewing pleasure.  Michael Dell was seen carrying the compact computer around at the conference, and it didn't take long for word to get out about this so called "perfect device for the next billion internet users." 

There are no official details yet, but it appears that the new Dell mini PC will be a budget-friendly device (we hope) along the lines of other ultraportable netbooks like the HP 2133 Mini-Note PC, the Everex CloudBook Max laptop,  the Asus Eee PC 900,  the Cybertron CM900 Mini-PC, and the Maxdata Belinea s.book 1 mini laptop, and the cheapest of them all - the $299 3K RazorBook 400 mini-notebook PC.

BenQ T850 Slim 8-mega-pixel Digital Camera

BenQ has announced a new slim digital camera which the company claims is the world’s slimmest 8-mega-pixel digital camera at just 14.9mm thick, but that probably won't last long.  The slim BenQ T850 features a 3” TFT LCD touch screen, a 3x optical zoom smc PENTAX lens, Super Shake-Free settings, and 1600 ISO. Camera functions can be accessed and engaged by using simple finger movements like tap, circle, and swiping which lets you swipe the screen, like an iPhone I suppose, for viewing photos and video.  Other slick options include Smile Catch, Auto Face Tracking, Z Lighting, advanced photo art, scribble & scrawl and Quick Bar photo help functions.

Android Touchscreen Mobile Phone Demo Video

Last year we got a hint of what to expect from Google's Android open source operating system and software platform for mobile phones in a brief  Android demo video, when Google announced the Android SDK release.

It looks like Android developers have been hard at work since then.  There's a new video of Android in action showing off some very nice capacitive touchscreen features on a mobile device that is said to be based on a 528MHz Qualcomm processor, with 128MB of RAM and 256MB of flash, using 3.6Mbps HSDPA connectiivity. The Android phone prototype demo took place at the Google I/O conference in San Francisco.

Pantech Breeze Easy To Use Cellphone from AT&T

Using a mobile phone gets even easier with AT&T's Pantech Breeze cellphone. Making things nice and simple are the phone's uncluttered design, simplified menus, oversized display with large keypad and quick-call keys. GrandMa should like that.     With its handy 1-2-3 Quick-Call keys, and large fonts the Pantech Breeze is obviously aimed at seniors, kids, and customers who have disabilities. It also has a dedicated hard key that brings up the phone's camera options. This is a GSM quad-band world cellphone with up to three hours of talk time and up to 10 hours of standby time. It features full messaging, camera and video capabilities, Bluetooth compatibility, an alarm clock, notepad, calendar and calculator.   

Windows 7 To Feature Multi-Touch - Demo Video

At All Things Digital's D6 conference, Windows 7, Microsoft’s next operating system showed some of its touchscreen skills.  The OS is not expected to be released until 2010, but the new multi-touch functionality, as seen on Microsoft's Surface computer, is something for Windows Vista users to look forward to. Apple iPhone fans will say that Microsoft is playing catch up, but we have yet to see a multi-touch display on a Mac. This Windows 7 multitouch demo was conducted on a Dell Latitude XT tablet.
