The card will be available in June in 4GB and 8GB capacities, priced at $89.99 and $149.99 respectively. The new card was developed jointly by SanDisk and Sony for all of the professional photographers and advanced amateurs out there who use Sony digital SLR cameras. Sony's PRO-HG capable point-and-shoot cameras and digital camcorders are also compatible with the Extreme III Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo card.

Samsung has introduced yet another version of its "Soul" phone.
Following up on the original SGH-U900 Soul and the Samsung G400 Soul clamshell phone, now we've got the candybar style Samsung Soulb phone. The new soul cellphone has a sleek brushed metal body and a thin profile, measuring just 9.9mm thick.
The Soulb phone features a 2" QVGA display, a 3 megapixel camera with Power LED flash, a microSD card slot, 1GB of internal storage, FM radio, and a standard 3.5mm audio port. Samsung Soulb also offers a built-in Office document viewer and editor, as well as a full HTML web browser.

The Bridge II docking station for iPod and iPhone connects to Harman Kardon Bridge-ready audio/video components, enabling expanded iPod capabilities like on-screen iPod menu display, remote control operation, and battery charging. At the D: All Things Digital D6 conference, a new Dell Mini Inspiron PC was spotted, and photos are now available for your viewing pleasure. Michael Dell was seen carrying the compact computer around at the conference, and it didn't take long for word to get out about this so called "perfect device for the next billion internet users."
There are no official details yet, but it appears that the new Dell mini PC will be a budget-friendly device (we hope) along the lines of other ultraportable netbooks like the HP 2133 Mini-Note PC, the Everex CloudBook Max laptop, the Asus Eee PC 900, the Cybertron CM900 Mini-PC, and the Maxdata Belinea s.book 1 mini laptop, and the cheapest of them all - the $299 3K RazorBook 400 mini-notebook PC.

BenQ has announced a new slim digital camera which the company claims is the world’s slimmest 8-mega-pixel digital camera at just 14.9mm thick, but that probably won't last long. The slim BenQ T850 features a 3” TFT LCD touch screen, a 3x optical zoom smc PENTAX lens, Super Shake-Free settings, and 1600 ISO. Camera functions can be accessed and engaged by using simple finger movements like tap, circle, and swiping which lets you swipe the screen, like an iPhone I suppose, for viewing photos and video. Other slick options include Smile Catch, Auto Face Tracking, Z Lighting, advanced photo art, scribble & scrawl and Quick Bar photo help functions.

Last year we got a hint of what to expect from Google's Android open source operating system and software platform for mobile phones in a brief Android demo video, when Google announced the Android SDK release.
It looks like Android developers have been hard at work since then. There's a new video of Android in action showing off some very nice capacitive touchscreen features on a mobile device that is said to be based on a 528MHz Qualcomm processor, with 128MB of RAM and 256MB of flash, using 3.6Mbps HSDPA connectiivity. The Android phone prototype demo took place at the Google I/O conference in San Francisco.

At All Things Digital's D6 conference, Windows 7, Microsoft’s next operating system showed some of its touchscreen skills. The OS is not expected to be released until 2010, but the new multi-touch functionality, as seen on Microsoft's Surface computer, is something for Windows Vista users to look forward to. Apple iPhone fans will say that Microsoft is playing catch up, but we have yet to see a multi-touch display on a Mac. This Windows 7 multitouch demo was conducted on a Dell Latitude XT tablet.
