Pioneer Elite BDP-05FD and BDP-51FD BonusView Blu-ray Disc Players

Pioneer Electronics has a few suggestions if you're in the market for a new Blu-ray disc player. The Elite BDP-05FD and Pioneer BDP-51FD BonusView Blu-ray players boast 1080p True 24 frames per second video output, picture-in-picture interactivity, and they can decode Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus, DTS HD and DTS HD Master high resolution audio formats. It's no surprise that Pioneer suggests hooking up the Elite BDP-05FD and BDP-51FD players to the company's new KURO displays and Elite A/V receivers for the "most true-to-life reproduction of HD feature films."   As with most BD players, both of these new Blu-Ray disc players scale DVDs to 1080p resolution as well.

The Pioneer Elite BDP-05FD and BDP-51FD BonusView Blu-ray Disc players will be shipping this summer for  $799 and $599 respectively.
