T-Mobile Sidekick Slide Scarlet Released
T-Mobile has released the lovely Sidekick Slide Scarlet, the latest version of Motorola's popular Sidekick Slide phone. It has a fresh new scarlet-red look, but also keeps most of the elements that made this a useful mobile device, including the sliding 2.5" QVGA screen which reveals a full QWERTY keyboard for easy text input. The T-Mobile Sidekick Slide Scarlet has a 1.3 megapixel camera, and a microSD card slot which supports memory cards up to 4GB. The device is also sporting an enhanced web browser with Java support, and a music player supporting MP3 and AAC music files.
The Sidekick Slide Scarlet phone supports quad-band GSM, Bluetooth, and EDGE data, plus T-Mobile's MyFaves service, email, MySpace Mobile, and instant messaging clients are also supported. The slider is said to provide up to 5.9 hours of talk time or 3.6 days of standby from its fully charged battery
It's available online or in T-Mobile retail stores for US$199.99 with a new two year service agreement.
