IdeaCentre K210 Desktop PC from Lenovo
Lenovo has announced the IdeaCentre K210, the company’s first consumer desktop PC in its "Idea" line, which also includes Lenovo’s IdeaPad notebooks. The IdeaCentre K210 offers a few innovative features like a cutting edge “Bright Vision” technology which detects how far you are from the monitor, and adjusts the brightness accordingly. Something Lenovo calls "VeriFace 3" facial recognition technology allows you to log in by having a camera recognize your facial image. The K210 also features an anti-microbial keyboard that uses special material to inhibit bacterial growth and keep those nasty keyboard germs to a minimum. A Lenovo Vantage Technology (LVT) menu is on hand should you need to recover easily from system crashes or viruses, plus K210's File Management feature helps you save critical data on a special system partition in the event of system failure.
The IdeaCentre K210 is available now on Lenovo.com, with a starting price of $379 (after mail-in-rebate). Sold seperately, the L195W 19-inch monitor is priced at $229 (after mail-in-rebate) and the L222W, 22-inch monitor is priced at $299 (after mail-in-rebate).
