ZEN X-Fi Portable Media Players from Creative
The ZEN X-Fi and ZEN X-Fi with wireless LAN are Creative's new sleek portable digital media players for enjoying music, video and photos on-the-go. Like the X-Fi Sound System Z600, Xmod External X-Fi device, and Xmod Wireless gear, these players feature Creative's Xtreme Fidelity X-Fi audio technology which "restores the quality of music that is lost during the digital ripping process." Sound quality for MP3, WMA and unprotected iTunes music is also enhanced with Creative's X-Fi Crystalizer audio technology.
The ZEN X-Fi with Wireless LAN is available in a 32GB model for $299.99, and a 16GB model for $199.99, both offering the added value of letting you wirelessly stream and download music from your PC to the player over your wireless network. The standard ZEN X-Fi 8GB model, with no wireless capability, goes for US$149.99. These players can be used with the ZEN X-Fi docking speaker system which will sell for $49.99 when it's released later this summer.
The ZEN X-Fi and ZEN X-Fi with Wireless LAN also feature:

- Exclusively on the ZEN X-Fi with Wireless LAN models, free instant messaging over popular IM services including Yahoo! Messenger and Windows Live! Messenger. Chat with friends wirelessly and express yourself using personalized emotive avatars by choosing different facial expressions and hair styles
- Creative ZEN X-Fi Video Converter, which converts video files to formats suitable for wireless streaming, will be made available for web downloading early August 2008
