The Gateway
MC7801u ($949.99) features an Intel Core 2
Duo Processor T5800 (2.0Gz),
4GB of DDR2 667MHz memory, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD, a 320GB hard drive and a Multi-Format Dual Layer
DVDRW with DVD-RAM and LabelFlash Technology.
The higher-end model is the Gateway MC7803u, which adds more power for gaming with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 graphics with 512MB dedicated memory, for a reasonable $999.99. Both notebooks come with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit Edition with SP1.
The Gateway MC-Series entertainment notebooks are available in burgundy and black colors, with covers that feature a synthetic leather stripe flanked by silver accents and Gateway logo embossed in zinc alloy metal.
Additional features include an HDMI v1.3 connection which lets you connect an external display device, a 5-in-1 digital card and media manager, four USB 2.0 ports, integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam, and 802.11 a/g/n Wifi.
