Sony D100 and D80 Digital Photo Frames
Sony Electronics announced two new S-Frame digital photo frames with the 10-inch DPF-D100 and 8-inch DPF-D80 models which both feature 800 x 600 pixels SVGA resolution LCD screens, and 4:3 aspect ratio. Each digital picture frame has 200MB of capacity, and digital photos can be loaded onto the internal memory from Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick PRO Duo, SD Memory Card, MMC, Compact Flash, Microdrive and xD-Picture Cards, or via your basic USB cable.
A useful auto orientation sensor automatically detects whether a photo should be positioned horzonally or verically and adjusts your photo accordingly. The digiframes also feature 10 slide show variations, clock and calendar views, and two index modes which allow you to preview several photos at once. A remote control is also included with each model.
Sony's 8-inch DPF-D80 digital photo frame is available now for about $180 and the 10-inch DPF-D100 will ship in November for about $280.
