The FlyThru isolates your laptop on one side of the bag so TSA agents can easily identify it through a clear window. Though the Belkin FlyThru bag supposedly meets TSA guidelines, I can recall being asked to turn on my laptop on several occasions (to make sure it's actually a computer I guess), so it won't solve that problem.
