eTrex Legend H and eTrex Vista H Budget Handheld GPS Navigators from Garmin

Garmin International has updated its low-cost handheld GPS navigator line with the new eTrex Legend H and eTrex Vista H models. The devices are fit with a high-sensitivity GPS receiver, which will help hikers and hunters find their way in areas with dense tree canopies or vertical canyons. Both models feature a USB interface and 24 megabytes of internal memory for loading detailed topo maps from a computer. The eTrex Vista H model also includes an electronic compass and barometric altimeter.

The eTrex Legend H ($149.99) and eTrex Vista H ($199.99) units contain a basemap of North and South America with major lakes, rivers, cities, interstates, national and state highways, railroads and coastlines.
