LG LCD and Plasma HDTVs for 2009 Announced
At the 2009 International CES in Las Vegas, LG Electronics has unveiled twelve new HDTVs including nine LCD models and three plasmas in screen sizes ranging from 19 to 60-inches. LG's latest HDTVs incorporate advanced technologies like LED Backlighting, TruMotion 240Hz and wireless capabilities, plus four core technologies including AV Mode II (Cinema, Sport, Game), Invisible Speakers, Clear Voice II and Picture Wizard.
The company is also showing off two new series of Broadband HDTVs which feature LG's "NetCast Entertainment Access" and incorporate Ethernet connectivity for accessing information and entertainment content directly from the Internet. LG recently announced new alliances with Yahoo!, Netflix and YouTube for the new Broadband TVs, so owners will be able to easily connect and use these services, as well as the Yahoo! Widget Engine where you can access to up-to-the minute weather reports, stock quotes, Flickr photos, and more on LG LH50 and PS80 series HDTVs. LG Electronics also introduced the LHX (above) and LH85 series wireless HDTVs.
LHX Slim Wireless LED Backlight HDTV (Class Size: 55-inch*) A CES 2009 Innovations honoree, LG's LHX offers superior picture quality with an elegant ultra-slim design -- less than one-inch thick at its thinnest point.
