Sansa slotRadio Player and Music Cards from SanDisk

After introducing the Sansa slotMusic Player and slotMusic Cards to the world in October, SanDisk has now announced the new Sansa slotRadio Player and the release of more music cards, including Albums from 40 top artists. The Sansa slotRadio player is described as "a portable music device that comes bundled with a slotRadio card that is preloaded with 1,000 songs handpicked from the Billboard charts, and professionally arranged into a variety of genre-themed playlists." 

The Sansa slotRadio player might be a nice device for those who don't want to spend time downloading songs, and are satisfied with the 1,000 songs included. This includes a playlists from Billboard’s rock, contemporary, country, and othercharts, and  organized into themes like “chillout,” “workout” etc. Navigation between songs and playlists is done with a simple press of a button.

Priced at $99.99, the slotRadio player features a 1.5” OLED screen for viewing artist and song information, an FM radio, and an integrated belt clip for hands-free listening. Additional 1,000 song, genre-specific and themed slotRadio cards will be sold separately at $39.99.  Look for it at sansa.com and at RadioShack stores nationwide in early 2009.
