Six new 2009 Full-HD Camcorders from Panasonic
Panasonic's new 2009 High Definition camcorders include the advanced HDC-HS300 ($1,399.95,) HDC-TM300 ($1,299.95) and HDC-HS250 ($999.95) models which feature a newly developed 3MOS chip system. These new HD camcorders have a touch-screen, with icons and camera controls available directly on the LCD. The HS300 and HS250 models have an internal 120 GB Hard Disk Drive which can store up to 50 hours of video. Look for them to be available in April 2009.
Panasonic’s introductory HD
camcorders, HDC-HS20 ($799.95), HDC-TM20 ($649.95) and HDC-SD20 ($599.95) feature a
16x optical zoom and a Leica Dicomar lens. The
HS20 has an 80 GB HDD which can record about 33 hours and 20 minutes, and it can also copy recorded video from the SDHC/SD
Memory Card to the hard disk, or vice versa. The HDC-TM20 is a twin memory camcorder that can record onto its built-in 16 GB memory or an SDHC/SD Memory Card. The HDC-SD20 records only to SDHC/SD Memory Cards, making it more compact and lightweight. These models will be available in black, silver and red colors.
