Sony X and W Series Walkmans
Sony's new WALKMAN X Series portable media player is looking good with its 3-inch widescreen OLED touchscreen. You can view videos and digital photos, and control music player buttons with the touchscreen's new Scene Scroll function, and use the on-board Wi-Fi connectivity to stream YouTube videos, download podcasts, and browse the Web. The player includes Sony's Clear Audio technologies, S-master Digital Amplifier technology, and Digital Noise Cancelling functions for the best audio quality.

The WALKMAN W Series is Sony's new wearable MP3 player, a light and easy to wear all-in-one device available in black, white, pink, green and violet. As you can see, comfort-fit 13.5mm EX headphones are built-in. Browsing music is done in ZAPPIN mode which automatically detects and plays the main chorus part of each track ton help you find the song you want using player's jog dial. Sony includes 'Content Transfer software with the WALKMAN W for easy drag and drop transfer of non-DRM music files to the player from online music services.
The WALKMAN X and W series will ship in Spring 2009. Pricing has not been announced.
