modu Mobile Phone and modu Jackets Ready for 2009 Mobile World Congress

About a year ago modu mobile announced its plans to develop its modu mobile ecosystem which includes modu jackets, and compatible modu devices. Now the company has released new images of what we can expect. The modu modular phone, one of the world’s lightest mobile phones, is a music player and a mass storage device with 2 GB of internal memory that can slide right in to a modu jacket to further extend the capabilities of the phone. Look for modu cellphones and modu jackets to start shipping later this year.
