New 4GB Apple iPod shuffle Music Player Talks to You with VoiceOver
Apple has made the new iPod shuffle player even smaller, with the tiny new 4GB iPod shuffle showing up at about half of the size of the previous model. Also, the new shuffle music player has a feature called VoiceOver, which enables the device talk to you, or speak your song titles,
artists and playlist names. Watch the demo video below to see exactly how this works.
The 4gb ipod shuffle holds about 1,000 songs and the VoiceOver feature supports 14 languages including English, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.
There is a slight problem with Apple's the third generation iPod
shuffle though. The device itself has no controls because all of the
functions are accessed through buttons on the headphone cord. That
means until there is a work-around, you'll be stuck with using the
earphones that ship with the iPod shuffle.
Available in black or silver, and sporting a new aluminum design with a built-in stainless steel clip, the petite iPod shuffle is priced at $79.
