Panasonic DMP-BD60, DMP-BD80 and DMP-BD70V Blu-ray Disc Players
Panasonic recently introduced its new Blu-ray players for 2009, including the DMP-BD60, DMP-BD80, and DMP-BD70V models which are each VIERA Cast compatible with internet functionality that lets you access Amazon Video On Demand titles, stream YouTube videos, view Google Picasa Web Albums, and read news and enjoy other online content. Each Panasonic Blu-ray player includes Panasonic's VIERA Link which enables a user to operate audio/video components via HDMI with one remote. An SD Memory card slot and USB slot are also on board for viewing your digital photos and HD video in AVCHD format. The DMP-BD70V model is the world's first dual deck VHS-Blu-ray player, so you can play VHS, CD, DVD and 1080p high definition Blu-ray Discs on it, and it up-converts all video formats to 1080p.
These BD players also boast a high image processing technology called "PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus" which was developed in collaboration with Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory. The technology is said to reproduce clear, vivid colors that are faithful to the original film. All three models also feature a high definition audio decoder (Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio Essential) which supports 7.1 channel surround sound.
