Toshiba Mini NB200 10.1” Laptop
The UK market will be the first to see Toshiba's new Mini NB200 laptop, also known as the Dynabook UX netbook, as it will hit retail in May at the starting price of £319, or about $467. The laptop has a 10.1” widescreen TruBrite LED backlight display (1024×600) and is available with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom
Processor N270, or the new, more powerful 1.66GHz Intel N280 Atom Processor. It also features Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, Intel 945GSE graphics chipset, 160GB hard disk drive, an 0.3-megapixel webcam, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g), three USB 2.0 slots, and a near full-size keyboard.
The Toshiba Mini NB200 comes in shades of brown, black, white and pink. A standard three cell Pink edition will be available from Q3 2009 with up to four hours of battery life, while an upgraded nine cell version offers up to nine hours life from a single charge.
The Toshiba Mini NB200 also features a 3D- accelerometer monitoring system that detects freefalls, shocks and vibrations and protects the integrated HDD to secure against the loss of any personal data.
