Satio Phone by Sony Ericsson Boasts 12.1 Megapixel Camera

Satio When Sony Ericsson first introduced this slick phone it went under the codename "Idou,"  but the company has now officially given the device the name "Satio."  Nevertheless, this mobile multimedia powerhouse has the same impressive features including a 12.1 megapixel camera with touch focus, Xenon flash, and face and smile detection, and a 3.5 inch screen in 16:9 widescreen format for watching videos on-the-go, which also offers an intuitive full touch media menu. The Sony Ericsson Satio phone allows you ro download music, movies and games from PlayNow arena. 

Satio supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and UMTS/HSDPA 850/900/2100, and will be available in selected markets from early Q4 in the Black, Silver and Bordeaux colors.

JONAS Brothers Video Game for Nintendo DS from Disney Interactive Studios

JONAS Video Game The millions of tweens who go ga-ga over the Jonas Brothers will be able to get closer to the band this Fall with a new game from Disney Interactive Studios simply called JONAS. Developed by Altron for the Nintendo DS, the JONAS Brothers videogame allows players to take on the role of Nick, Joe and Kevin Lucas in  adventures from the Disney Channel comedy series “JONAS.”

Sony Ericsson Launches Yari Phone featuring Gesture Gaming

Yari-phone Sony Ericsson's new Yari phone focuses on mobile gaming with gesture gaming technology that lets you twist, tilt, and turn the device as you play. In between phone calls, you can play a variety of gesture games, as well as pre loaded motion and standard games which can also be downlaoded from SE's PlayNow arena. You can also snap photos with Yari's 5.0 mega pixel camera and listen to music with its dedicated player. Sony Ericsson explains it this way:

Yari is the industry’s first mobile phone with gesture gaming outside of the Japanese market,” said Catherine Cherry, Market Business Manager at Sony Ericsson.  “It’s time to move like you’ve never moved on a mobile phone before! With Gesture gaming you move your body to play instead of pressing buttons on the phone, giving you a fun experience that even helps you keep fit."

Activision's Most Anticipated Games of the Year Coming to E3 Expo 2009

Activision Publishing, Inc. will hit the 2009 E3 Expo this week with a full slate of new video game titles, including Infinity Ward’s highly anticipated sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2, the new DJ Hero game, the rock-based Guitar Hero 5, Bizarre Creations’ Blur racing game, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen videogame, and the Tony Hawk: RIDE skateboarding game and motion sensing skateboard controller that was recently announced.

Sony Ericsson Aino Phone with Media Go Multimedia App

Sony Ericsson has introduced the lovely Aino phone, a slider-style device that combines a keypad with an intuitive touch UI in media mode, and a media browser that provides one touch direct access to content. The Aino phone's Media Go and Media Home apps help you transfer, play and organize your music, photos, videos and podcasts from your PC via Wi-Fi.  And how about this? You can also control your PlayStation 3 and access its media content on the Aino phone anywhere, anytime using something Sony Ericsson calls "Remote Play with Playstation3"  which was initially developed for PSP.  When Aino is released in Italy, France, Spain, Germany and in the UK (early Q4) Aino owners will be able to use a PlayTV service to watch, pause and record live Mobile TV via the Aino.

The Sony Ericsson Aino phone also features a 3" screen, an 8.1 megapixel camera, and it is packaged with Sony Ericsson's Wireless Stereo Headphone MH100 and matching Charging Stand EC100.

Lenovo G550 and IdeaPad U350 Laptops, IdeaCentre C300 All-in-One Desktop PC

Lenovo is launching three new budget-friendly PCs this summer including the thin and light IdeaPad U350 laptop featuring a 13.3 inch LED screen and an HDMI connector, the 15.6-inch Lenovo G550 laptop for small-to-medium business users, and the Intel Atom based Lenovo C300 all-in-one 20-inch screen desktop, Lenovo's latest “Idea” PC.

The IdeaPad U350 laptop will be available starting in July for $649. The Lenovo G550 laptop will be available in June for $599, and the IdeaCentre C300 all-in-one desktop will be released in July for $449.

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian Video Game

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian for Wii, Nintendo DS, Windows PC and the Xbox 360, developed by Amaze Entertainment, Pipeworks and Fizz Factor, is a new game that features the same wacky and historical characters found in the hit Twentieth Century Fox movie. In the game, players assume the role of actor Ben Stiller's character Larry Daley who "must rescue Jedediah and his other friends from Akhmenrah's brother who captured them while stealing a powerful Magic Tablet that can raise the Army of Horus to take over the world."

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian videogame is in stores now priced at $39.99 for Wii and Xbox 360, $29.99 on Nintendo DS and $19.99 on Windows PC. You can watch the game trailer at: www.NightattheMuseumGame.com.

Hitachi's 2009 UltraVision Series and Alpha Series LCD HDTVs

Hitachi Home Electronics announced its 2009 UltraVision Series and Alpha Series LCD HDTVs which will be rolled out over the next few months. Hitachi's UltraVision series will be available in a 55-inch class home theater model and in 46-inch and 42-inch class screen sizes, all featuring 1080p resolution, 120Hz panel speed and Hitachi's Reel120 smooth movie motion technology with up to eight high definition inputs, a built-in ATSC/QAM/NTSC tuner, and ENERGY STAR qualification.

Hitachi's new Alpha Series is available in 42-inch (1080p) 120Hz panel, and 32-inch class screen (720p) with panel speed of 60Hz include four HDMI connections among the seven high definition inputs. Two of the HDMI inputs are located on the side panel for easy connection to game consoles and digital cameras. The Alpha series also includes a high definition RGB input for direct PC connectivity.
