Apple's New 13-inch, 15-inch and 17-inch Aluminum Unibody MacBook Pro Notebooks, and MacBook Air Update

Apple has updated its aluminum unibody MacBook Pro line with new 13-inch, 15-inch and 17-inch models that offer up to 40 percent longer battery life. These new MacBook Pros boast an LED-backlit display with greater color intensity, Apple's glass Multi-Touch trackpad, an illuminated keyboard, and depending on the model - an SD card or ExpressCard slot, a FireWire 800 port and state of the art NVIDIA graphics.

The new 13-inch MacBook Pro (starting at $1,199), 15-inch MacBook Pro (starting at $1,699), and 17-inch MacBook Pro (starting at $2,499) are now available at Apple Stores and www.apple.com, as well as Authorized Resellers. Apple also updated its thin and light MacBook Air laptop with more powerful features. Two new Macbook Air models are available starting at $1,499 for a 1.86 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo system with a 120GB hard drive and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics,  and $1,799 for a 2.13 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo system with a 128GB solid state drive and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics

The 2.26 GHz, 13-inch MacBook Pro, for a suggested retail price of $1,199 (US), includes:
