AT&T Releasing Nokia Surge Social Messaging Smart Phone Next Week
AT&T is set to release the new Nokia Surge 3G smart phone on July 19th for customers wanting a compact device for texting, email, multimedia messaging, or updating and connecting via social networks. Based on Symbian
S60, the Nokia Surge messaging
phone features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, web browser with Flash support, a 2.0 megapixel camera with 4X digital zoom, and AT&T Video
Share. It also comes pre-installed with the JuiceCaster
app which lets you share videos and pictures from the device to popular sites like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and
Flickr.
The Nokia Surge will be available through select AT&T retail locations or at online for $79.99 with a two-year service agreement and after a mail-in rebate.
